18th March 2023, Saturday after a hectic week at work. This is the day we chose for our hike. Shiva Tripathi had invited me for the hike. Apparently, they were two people short for this trip and me having no weekend plans readily accepted. I was looking to get away from the city and this seemed like the perfect getaway for me.

Hike to Lauke Jharana

The hiking club scheduled a one-day hike to Lauke Jharana on March 12th, 2023. We arrived at the Deerwalk complex around 7:10 a.m. We boarded the bus from Deerwalkat 7:30 AM after introducing ourselves. We arrived at Kakani for breakfast at 9:20 AM. After breakfast, we started walking at around 10 AM as Kakani was our starting point for the hike.

Hike to Bhundole Chaur

On March 19th, 2023, a group of 13 individuals from DWC (Deerwalk Compware) embarked on a day trek to Bhundole Chaur, Pharping. We gathered at Deerwalk Complex around 8:00 a.m. and departed on the bus at 8:15 a.m. It took us approximately 90 minutes to reach our starting point at Pharping Bazar. However, we were unable to find a good breakfast spot, so we went near the Dakshinkali Temple to have breakfast.
