The new journey started after the successful coordination of 1-day hike. We Squad B set up for 2 days hike at Manakamana. The route we initiated was new to deerwalk till the date and the destination was led by Achyut Dai. Everyone one of us was excited about the hike and we left office at 6AM in the morning.

We dove off to Naubise with crack jokes and music in the vehicle. At Gupta bhojnalaya we had our breakfast and again drove to Abu khaireni with beautiful sightseeing and numerous accident on the roadside. The hypnotic beauty of roadside hills and river completely refreshed our mind.

Around 10 AM we started our journey walking on the hills. The weather though expected to be rainy, it was completely midsummer that ruined our hike. The sun has really melted our fats completely that we stored during our office time. Despite the sunny weather and wet body of sweat, we continued our journey which took 8 hours to reach the destination.

Finally, we reached the destination (Manakamana) and we got to have relief feeling. Having a short rest around we moved in search of the hotel to fill up our hungry stomach. In no time we had our lunch and with short rest, we again moved in search of rooms to stay at night.

Asking around several hotels and checking most of all we finally found the hotel with suitable price and infrastructures. Leaving up the bags in rooms and being fresh we moved outside the top of manakamana mandir to explore the beauty. On the top, we got to have the cold beers to get rid of sunny hike and tiredness.
The cold beers and non-veg jokes with each other made us forget our tiredness of whole day. Then we all set out for dinner of own choices at different places depending upon the taste and diets of own.
In this way the day one of hike end with tired and refreshed moments.

In the early morning we all hikers being religious set out for puja and darshan in the manakamana mandir which was nearby our stay.

On the second day, In the early morning we all hikers being religious set out for puja and darshan in the manakamana mandir which was nearby our stay. All of us had completed our function at mandir then we left the hotel and moved down. On the way, we had our breakfast and it was quite satisfactory. On getting down to hills through kurintar we captured our beautiful moments in images and videos.

Not that we lost the way, in fact in search of shortcut we got to move through the corn fields. On the way we distributed the copy and pencils as provided from office to the village students who were on the way to school. Capturing the beautiful moment of these distribution and cable car flying on the way we get down through the hills to the kurintar riverside.

No matter the weather was too sunny on this second day as well, we completed our journey hardly with beautiful moments and the Journey was really beautiful and adventurous than the destination.
Finally, after having delicious lunch at Kuntar, we got in the vehicle and left to Kathmandu.

My first experience of two days hike was a memorable moment of my life. It was around 10 AM when we began to walk from the place called Abu Khaireni. Walking some steps we reached to a hanging bridge over the trishuli river. After crossing that bridge we headed up towards the staircases and up towards the hill. The very 1st starting of the hike in a sunny day was too much difficult with the infinity upwards way through the hill. Everybody with full of sweat were climbing the hill but it was quite fun though. After walking about 3 hours we reached on top of the hill. Everybody did rest for a while there. My body was full of sweat shivering because of hunger. I thought we were about to reach our destination but it was not at all as we were just only half of the way near to the destination and had to climb another hill as well. Everybody was looking too much tired and hungry. After having some rest we started to walk towards our destination. On the way we found a house where we ate the tasty cucumber. The most interesting moment was when we climbed a tree just to eat the bites of raw mango as we were too much hungry walking in a sunny day.

After walking about 2 hours we reached to a hotel where we had a delicious lunch. We did rest for a while and had fun playing cards. When i looked down from the hill then i was surprised of being walking so long. That was the time I realised the real taste of hike is to walk and walk and never to give up. Finally walking about 7 hours we reached to Manakamana . As it was my 1st time visit to Manakamana I was cherished by the beauty of that place. We did lots of fun in the hotel where we stayed. At early morning we went to worship the god in Manakamana temple. After that having some breakfast we started to walk again towards Kurintar. It was more fun while returning back as there was no way and we had to jump often through the maize fields. We found some children on the way and distributed some notebook copy ,pencil and erasers. Those children reminded me of the history of Gorkha as their names were too much energy and bravery like true Gorkhali. We just walked following the route of cable car. Walking about 3 hours finally we reached to Kurintar and couldn’t wait for the lunch. After having Lunch we headed towards back home.
