WHAT IS HALLOWEEN REALLY ALL ABOUT???

Have you ever thought about this? Have you ever asked yourself, “Who in the world ever thought of the idea of walking around in weird costumes, trick-or-treating, and/or putting a carved-out pumpkin in your window?”

You will agree with me that Halloween is really one of the strangest days in the year, is it not? Perhaps you wonder how the celebration of such a day ever got started. In this pamphlet I would like to answer this question for you!

The final match of the season was held Wednesday. As the location was changed at the last minute, both sides were free of the fan and groupie distractions which have plagued them all season. It was relaxing to get down to some old time “futbol” and that was done. The usual suspects were in attendance and quickly made themselves known.
After sitting out all season Rudra played and when he put his boot on the ball it was apparent the man has game. A little rusty after not competing for many years the old form of “El Rudrito” quickly returned. He showed those of us who never had a chance to see him in action with AC Kathmandu how he earned his “nom de guerre”.

NOC many time announced there will be proper supply of fuel after increasing price. But still we have to stay on queue and pump still tells no petrol. Who is to blame for scarcity and quality of fuels?

All got ready early in the morning towards Jaipur. We took Volvo Delux bus to jaipur which cost 120 per person. After 5 hour we reached Jaipur and stayed hotel near Jaipur Bus Park, which cost 400 for double bed.

Then the same day we traveled around the Jaipur City palace, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal and Amer Fort. But we did a mistake going to Amer the first day we should have gone the next day. Ideas to complete Jaipur in two days are as below:

Our plan to go for Agra tour postponed twice but this time all of us decided to make it anyway. As the vehicle arrived sharp at 5:00 am, we all were in a hurry to be freshening up. After a long period, all of us wake up so early in the morning. Then we rushed outside the apartment and the weather was too chill. We get our self inside the vehicle in no time. As soon as our journey began we felt relax and enjoyed to watch the morning view, sun-rise and misty weather on our way. It’s around 280 KM from Gurgaon to Agra and while we are heading towards our destination some of us fell asleep inside the vehicle.

Time always goes on and it brings the changes. It seems Kathmandu city has changed a lot. It is being more crowded and unplanned. Below are some collections of Kathmandu city before 70 years. They were taken from different sources. I am very thankful to the person who ever had captured and collected those images.
