The purpose of the Mentor’s Club is to strengthen the quality of Deerwalk employees by both mentoring existing employees via trainings on useful topics and selecting new employees by managing the intern’s selection process. With this aim, 11 training sessions on various topics were conducted in 2017 and five new interns were selected for-hire out of a rigorous written and interview exam of 56 Kathmandu University (KU) students. Mentor’s Club also played an important role in maintaining HIPAA compliance at Deerwalk by conducting HIPAA exams for new hires.
