I still remember my first day in office. It was Tuesday, November 10, 2009. Back then, this company was just a start-up. Today, we can proudly consider Deerwalk as one of the largest and best IT companies in Nepal. The growth has been phenomenal and I consider myself lucky to be a part of this outstanding growth. At Deerwalk, I have always felt myself at home, from day one, where I am able to freely share my ideas, knowledge, and expertise. When the company decided to let me visit our US office located at 430 Bedford Street, Lexington, MA,

The Chinese Restaurant that we went to was the first Karaoke bar that I had been to where they actually charged extra for using the Karaoke machine. Some of the team members negotiated for a quite length of time to get the price down to within our budget. But in the end we ended up not using it anyway because the only Karaoke songs they carried were all in Mandarin language.
It’s always exiting and entertaining to move on from our daily office routine and go for something that really eases all of our stresses. As it was my first outing so I was bit more excited for this event. We were a total of 15 members for the outing to Dhulikhel. The Van left the office at 1 pm and we headed to our destination picking up other team members on the way. Everyone was singing and having fun, before reaching the destination at 3:15PM to Mirabel Resort, Dhulikhel.

But of course, being the new guy here and having only been on one of such a trip, I have drawn this conclusion only from the fun loving fellas from Benecore, Hedis and Makalu; and hence readers from other sections of the office might not find it ‘self-explanatory’. So, I’ll try and cover the very gist of it as I continue.
