Waking up early at 5 am, I headed to the office. After few minutes of my arrival, Nimesh arrived and we headed to Pokhara, receiving our teammates at different places.
Well that may be true but I’ll still have to wait to completely know my teammates because those wonky-eyed, wobbly-footed, rum-in-hand lads that I spent the trip with, certainly were not their true selves. And I say ‘lads’ here because not one of our female counterparts cared to join us for the trip.
This was my second outing from Deerwalk and I was excited as usual. Our destination, Shivapuri village resort, was located around 20 km from Samakhusi. We picked up all our colleagues in the way and reached 2 km ahead of the resort at 1:30 pm.
The annual executive committee for the Corporate Activity Club (CAC) is formed soon after the new year commences. The primary goal of the club is to organize recreational activities for Deerwalk employees as a getaway from the monotony of everyday routine.
The purpose of the Mentor’s Club is to strengthen the quality of Deerwalk employees by both mentoring existing employees via trainings on useful topics and selecting new employees by managing the intern’s selection process.
Established in 2012, Professional Communication Club (PCC) organizes various events with the sole aim to enhance the communication skills of Deerwalk employees by conducting communication training sessions, holding DeerTalk competition and hosting guest speakers.
After an hour or so, we all decided to went to the famous Bandipur bazaar. It was just half an hour walk to the bazaar where we snapped a lot of photos and rested at a restaurant where we had some tea and light snacks. After that. we went back to Hotel where Mayank was preparing for the team game.
Deerwalk Futsal Tournament 2016 was organized by Deerwalk Corporate Activity Club on dated 2016-06-12 till 2016-07-10. Tournament comprises of 2 men’s and 1 women’s team from each squad total of 8 men’s and 4 women’s team with 127 participants. Men’s team were divided equally into two groups and women’s team in one. Top two teams from each group played into the semis.
Professional Communication Club (PCC) has been a good platform for improving communication skills at Deerwalk. This year, Deertalk, a public speaking contest amongst employees, drew great enthusiasm from the participants as well as from the audiences.
The executive committee for the Corporate Activity Club (CAC) for the year 2014 was formed in the first week of January 2014. The goals of the club are to organize recreational activities for the employees of Deerwalk as a departure from the monotony of everyday routine. It also helps foster a sense of intimacy and camaraderie across cross-functional teams. CAC is proud to have successfully completed a number of events in the year 2014.
