Description:
Stare. Stare into the eyes and feel the wisdom that this old man has amassed in his long blissful life.

We met this old Chepang man on our way to Siraichuli hills in Chitwan. With his incoherent voice he told us he was well above 100 years of age and judging by his frail
limbs and teethless gums, we believe he was telling the truth. Accompanied by his old wife, a young daughter and few grandchildren he was busy drying out seeds. We
tarted a small conversation with the man and took few pictures of him and his family. This brief encounter where the old man shared some of his funny life stories
was one of the refreshing and memorable part of the doomed trip :)

Description:
Looks fearful but ironically it should be the one fearing us. This magnificent beast, known as Marsh Mugger crocodile-मगर गोही, surviving from the era of the dinosaurs may not survive this decade. Because of increasing habitat loss, water pollution and over fishing this crocodile along with others are on the brink of extinction. We as human beings have the power and capability to save this living dinosaur. Let this reptile survive even the human era.

This photo was taken on 9th Dec 2007 at the Rapti river near Shaurah, Chitwan National Park.
