“It’s not about where you go, it’s all about whom you go with”
It was almost 1 PM when we left for Daksinkali resort which is 11Km from Kathmandu. The bumping roads and jokes inside the van were memorable. It was even more exciting to collect our colleagues on the way, the exciting faces and eagerness to join was clearly seen in their faces. Our last pick point was Balkhu where we picked up Nistha di and Sudhir dai the team was complete.
We reached our destination within an hour. Resort is located right below the hills. It is surrounded by hills. As soon as Dipak dai turned off the engine all my friends were thirsty and whoever says only water can kill your thirst have not tested something chilled more than water called Beer.
All of us checked in the hotels resting our bags and getting ready to enjoy the overnight.
We waited for our snacks. By the time it arrived whiksy in the glasses were refilled many times. The wait was over and we cleared our tables and started hunting a place to sit and drink and talk.
I guess everyone was enjoying the place and of course Saurav Dai, who was sharing his funny incidents. I have to include that the service was late, but we were very fast to clear out the plates. Soon the glasses were going empty. As soon as the dinner was over cards started to strike on the beds. Some of them started to continue their serials on TV and most of us were busy to make noise rather than joining for cards.
Early morning we headed out for Daksinkali temple which is half and hour drive from the hotel.
It was easy to get to temple since no long queues were present and returned back to hotel met rest of lazy ones who chose to sleep. The Breakfast was served well. We cleared our bills and left for Home sweet home.
