Standing at The Bridge

bridge1

I’m at this side, and you are at the other

But we pretend, this distance doesn’t bother

You are a distant cry,

Though how much I try – to reach you!

Repressed feelings – never revealed

But deep down, they get piled up

Stories from your side – still unheard,

Confessions to be made – yet undisclosed

My subliminal expectations for your approach

Fades away as time erodes!

  3. nice explode of feelings in the few compressed letters, yet impressive and fusion of mix of mind and the cries of heart stills remains.

    Nice intellectual piece.

    Keep it up.

  4. There’s clarity of emotions in the way you express… less details makes it even better.. there’s no mention of where the bridge is, if the bridge is broken or not, who is standing on the other side, what happened in the past.. but the poem touches your heart when you read it…like you had experienced the similar kind of feeling.. as if there’s something very important that you can relate to it… is a great poem.. appreciated!!
