Photo Description:
The picture was taken somewhere near Chobhar. It has two kids crossing a bridge; maybe returning from a day full of play. The kid in front is holding on to the rails while the other has the bicycle. There probably is a casual chatter in progress recounting the day while the boys return home. The sun beams a light orange after the long day’s burn; it’s time for her to set as well. The freedom and fun of childhood is underscored by the silhouettes that outlines in the dim glare of the moment. We all remember those days and we cherish the way we spent them. There is an African proverb ‘if you want to go fast, go alone but if you want to go far, go together’; never more true than to a kid.
