In the streets of Jaya Bageshori a man weaves quietly in a corner unaware of the commotion around him. Scraps of cloth fall from his sewing machine as he concentrates on designing the piece of wardrobe at hand. He is trying to give it shape, in accord to the dimensions he has in mind, while trying to meet a deadline which is always closer than he would have liked. There is a life in that corner, so as in many throughout the streets in Jaya Bageshori, one of the liveliest places I have ever known.
