Krishna’s US Visit 2

This was my second visit to USA. Although I had already visited USA, I was excited to meet this place again but it was very hard to leave my family back for a long time. I reached Boston on July 31st, 2017. Things have not changed so much in the US office since my last visit in 2016. During this three months’ period, I managed to get most out of it.

Weekdays were always busy with approaching client deliverables. Working with the onshore team was an awesome experience. One can understand the importance of criticality of the tasks by working there. Weekends were always filled with fun. I tried to get most out of the weekends. The stay at ‘B1 Palace’ was unforgettable.

The apartment was named as B1 Palace because it’s more than a home for all visitors with visit visa.

The Bar Harbor trip on third week of August was awesome. I observed first sunrise in the USA from the Cadillac mountain in Acadia National Park. The view from the mountain was mesmerizing. I tried some sea food there. The lobster lunch was delicious.

Next on August 28th, I travelled to Chicago for a week for client visit. Although I had already met some co-workers during my last visit, I was excited to meet new team members in Chicago. The new place that I hadn’t visited during last visit was 360 Chicago. One can observe breathtaking 360 degrees’ views of the city skyline and Lake Michigan from there. The tilt experience from 94th floor at 360 Chicago was a scary experience. Again, it’s a good opportunity to know the American lifestyle by staying with an American family. I couldn’t stop thanking Bill for his warm hospitality there.

In one of the weekend, I visited Providence RI to meet some of my old friends there. I had frequent get together with my friends during the weekends. Supporting Boston Red Socks baseball team in Fenway Park in their home ground was a memorable experience. The places that worth mentioning in my visit are MIT, Harvard University, freedom trail, Downtown Boston.

I was back to Kathmandu on November 2nd, 2017 with super memories. Lastly, I am grateful to Ashay, Sagar, Bipul, Saroj, Manish, Suresh, Abanish, Sushant, Smriti and Mukta for the help during my stay. I would like to thank Milan and all the team members, without whom this trip would not have been possible. Thanks are due to Rudra Dai, Muna Bhauju and the whole Deerwalk family for providing this opportunity to visit the United States.
