Deerwalk Annual Fest 2012

A day full of excitement, November 9, 2012; in anticipation of fun, and apprehensions of the organizers/performers; Deerwalk’s Annual Festival was held at Hotel Shahanshah in the presence of our Chairman Rudra Pandey and our President Jeff Gasser accompanied by his wife Pamela.

Ashay welcomed everyone; and the program begam with inspiring words from Jeff which was followed by Rudra Dai’s “How, Why, Who and What”, a presentation which revealed many secrets.

The evening rolled on beautifully with scintillating dance, drama and song performances by our very own Deerwalkers. It was a day we celebrated the innate talents of individuals among us, awarding a few for their performances in the Table Tennis tournament and the Coding Contest.

A team work with the spirit of working together towards a goal was achieved with the help of all the organizers and their supporting casts. The effort put into all the performances, and the management of the entire program was an amazing accomplishment for all of us; and the emcees did a wonderful job of keeping the event tied up together. Special thanks goes to Rinku Thapa, the dance instructor.

Taking this opportunity to thank everyone in the organizing committee (Sachin Karanjit and Nimesh Deuja on the logistics, Sangita Maharjan and Sulekha Bhandari with the dances, Manish Man Singh and Niraj Thapa with the songs, Kanchan Raj Pandey and Saroj Kumar Dhakal with the skits, and Shrijana Tandukar and Monika Agrawal with the emceeing), we envision a splendid event in the coming year too.
