Photo Description:

I was born in this area, since the day I was too young and still it fascinate me by all the architectural temples around the Durbar Square area.

While I was capturing the pictures around Hanuman dhoka, located in Durbar Square area, I suddenly remember one of my favorite temple Chyasin Dega, which is one of the unique temple amongst all. It is architecturally interesting because of its octagonal plan. The temple of Vansagopal (which means Krishna in the act of playing the flute) was built in 1649 by Pratap Malla in memory of his two dead queens, and later this temple was renovated in 1967.
