नयाँ ऋतुमा फेरि फुल्यो पूरानो गुलाफ
बेयाम रहेँ म रेशममा रङ्गेको गुलाफ !

खस्ने डरले समतल खोजेर हिडियो,
ठाडो भीरमाथि फुल्दिए रातो गुलाफ !

मलाई पनि नरम हुन करै लाग्यो
पत्थर फुटाली फुल्यो कमलो गुलाफ !

पत्र-पत्र होइन सुखका तह-तह भन्थे
धुजा देख्यो दोषी दृष्टिले सिङ्गो गुलाफ !

तिम्रो इच्छा अघि तकर्हरु केही न केही
कालो नीलो हुन बाध्य सेतो मेरो गुलाफ !
