The bias could be the result of male voters as pointed out by Dovan.

Did they disclaim that the results are not scientifically correct and error level?

Thats not new news about kantipur tv's poll and its three stupid options. I stopped watching a long time ago.

And audiance--yes, most of them must be male--they just chose the sexiest option. Haha.

There is no doubt question is not phrased properely and pole is biased. However, although I can get the gist of the example provided by Dovan, the example of rhino and provocative woman is not correct. As far as Rhinos are concerened, they are rare, you have to go to a jugle to hunt them, you have to carry a gun etc. Whease the latter can be found in most of the places.

With the risk of being unpopular (since it is a sensitive topic), as far as I can glean from my life experiences, many educated women I have met have also blammed the women. I am not sure if they would vote differently if voting would be confidential. However, I am confident that lots of women in villages including my mother would vote for (c). I can't imagine them accepting some of the provocative dresses which are in display nowadays.

For example if a girl goes to a late night disco party with provocative dress and on top of it boozes till she looses her senses, there is almost certain that a few guy would try to take the advantage of the situation.

as I cannot write sweet and creative nepali like dovan , "Mahila AAfai" is just a option that can be presented in multiple choice. it is not necessary to portray all males are aggresionists,chauvanists,Harraseing,arsonists,sexualists,and nobody is born singly to mother. Do you mean to elaborate that all fathers/to-be-fathers have harrased women because they produce children? you hate your father too much? or your BFs who harrased you?

I had not meant that Kantipur should not have presented the third option.
but i had found the option so illogical that i thought it would not get any vote.

but to my great surprise, it got 60% vote..

In Nepal, most news viewers are male (most women are too busy to finish their chores so that they can catch up the hindi soaps) Among the total viewers too , most voters are male.( most women are unemployed, do not have mobile sets, and are (made) too passive to make their participation)

As if you are monitoring the voting system and counting the numbers of male voters. Just because the (c) Option got 60% vote, which suprised you a lot, how can you blame male only for that. Comparison to male mobile users, women are not behind them, Even +2 student (laides) uses mobile these days who are unemployed(expensive mobiles can been seen on their hands too), they knows how to use mobile set and participate on such things.

I think this posting is just to show your angerness towards male.

if u really want to know the ratio of participation, just visit this blog and u will know the ratio of male amd female bloggers

because women's participation is so low, this has been man's world and vice versa..

aha,pawan, GA. Dovan knows everything about males: how much they vote? how they harass(bill clinton and monica lewinsky)? she will be next Monica Lewinsky no doubt. Her nearby relatives,friends, colleagues..do not get close to her. She will prove some thing genetically that you(Male/Female both, as she hates males most then other Females) harrassed her. Could you please further elaboate what is the meaning of the above sentence. I tried to read many times and frankly but could not establish link between guilt and voting.

Another of those, we women are weak-oppressed kind-men-are-the-suppressor-kind. I see no reason why it is the men who are at fault here. Maybe you need to date more often ... guys that is ... lol
