You, my leader,
I, your people,
You command,
I abide,

You were garlanded,
I clapped,
You delivered speech,
I listened,
I clapped again,
What else could I do?
I had no choice
Or did I?

You said you feared me,
I couldn’t trust
But didn’t question you
How could I
You are my leader
And I your people,
So I don’t have a right
Or do I?
