Well all the pics are great and nicely shot. The candle light shot, yes it is really good, but i don’t get how this really falls in Life in Nepal category. The description didn’t quite complement the pic. Doesn’t the criteria for choosing these pics look at both the pic and the description or is it like a picture says a 1000 words!!!. The description on the other pics are way better…

In my humble opinion, only Festival of Classical Dance (Photo By: Rina Maharjan) catches the true essence of Life in Nepal.

All the pics selected here are good ones …. and to be the part of pics over here it should be posted in LIN section and not in any other. Don’t compare the picture with other ones. U are here to compare the pics with the 6 pics selected here by LIN editor not the ones u think it should be.
do u thnik u can alter the votes rating by doing so?
try it …
in the end winner wil be the one who really deserves it ….

Well it is viewer’s choice to make ‘Budding Shutterbug‘ the winner of EU photo of the Month September and for me learning part is not being the ‘winner’ but having good comments.
Dear ‘can’t believe it’ and Sir_EatALot I agree that in a visual perspective “Festival of Classical Dance” has lot to depicts about Life in Nepal and I guess picture quality is lacking. This must be one reason why it wins fewer votes from viewers. Your comment made me realize ‘Budding Shutterbug’ is indeed showy and less inclined towards Life in Nepal’s theme. Thank you for your honest comment. Now I am very careful in selecting my pictures to contribute here in LIN.
Dear ‘Don’t get it, you are right, Editor of Life in Nepal must consider LIN’s criteria and guideline before publishing contributor’s pictures. I know comment like your does encourage LIN Editor and help to grow LIN better and bigger.
Thank you.
