    D2 Football

D2 continued its corporate football series with a 6-0 victory against Global Bank. It was first game of the season for Global bank and the lack of match practice was evident as Ram struck twice for D2 in early minutes of the first half. The Global bank keeper had quite a horrible time in front of goal as Bidur and Shankar scored each to give D2 a 4-0 lead before half-time.

Global bank appeared to settle down during the second half and began passing the ball more confidently in the midfield. However, D2’s defense led by Biswa, Bijay, and Manoj made sure they did not have any clear opportunities.

Third time, its with Kantipur team ( TV, FM combined! ) for this season. Could be the first real big break of being heard in radio and seen in TV. Should easily win the game, the bench strength has never been so strong!
