    Water for Life

    thirsty.jpg
Due to improper urbanization and lack of awareness in preserving our old heritage, most of ancient stone sprouts within valleys are fast drying up and some are already encroached without a trace. But this one ‘Sundhara’ (Golden Sprout) at Patan (Lalitpur) is still cascading fresh water giving some relief to the shortage of drinking water.

While I am taking picture for environment magazine’s feature on ‘Source of Drinking Water of Valleys’, this thirsty lady from nowhere popped up within my frame giving a final touch to my composition.

Due to improper urbanization and lack of awareness in preserving our old heritage we have lost many things and they are already history, but i guess there are still people who are working on to preserv them from being a history and vanish from here. I think goverment should pass a strong law and stop corruption at offices like land and reforms, municipality, malpot office naapi bibhaag.
