Corporate Football - D2 vs USTC Medical
It was another disappointing loss for D2 as they succumbed to a 4-1 rout from the young and athletic team of the medical students. The game started in a bit scrappy fashion, but the medical team soon began to find their rhythm and started exerting pressure on D2 defense. The pressure soon paid off and they took a 1-0 lead with a deflected goal. A long range shot from Binesh seemed to have been covered by the D2 goalkeeper before it got a wicked deflection from Prashanta working in the central defense and got into the net.
D2 managed to get level immediately through Abhishesh’s goal but the medical team struck thrice to get a deserved 4-1 win. D2 will be hoping to restore some pride when the two teams come head-to-head again on 3rd November.

the name of the goal scorer is BINESH GURUNG who managed to score 3 goals for the USTC team and 1 goal was scored by UTKARSH KARKI..

it was a fun and new experience for the medicos to play at Pulchowk in the chilly winters of Kathmandu..
To add something about the match report , Credit should be given to the goalkeeper of D2(he saved some beutiful shots) and the 1st suicide goal was scored by Ganesh..
