   “On August 19, 1839, the French government announced the invention of photography as a gift “Free to the World.” -worldphotoday.org

   It was only 2 years ago I heard about World Photography Day for the first time. It was here in EU -(LIN postby Luna and the photo blog by Shutterbug
   )

   Surely we dont quite live with the daguerreotype anymore, but one of my intent here was to remind this celebration of the-gift-free-to-the-world with people who share the same passion for photography.
