If you ask me why I wake up late, there’d be a quick response; what’ll I do waking up early hmm? I think the best part of sleep is in the morning when we know that it’s already dawn, yet don’t want to come out and take a long nap; making some castles in the air, dreaming some unusual things and imagining things that would never turn to reality. Ahh! Feel asleep again. What if the other way, what if life takes seven turns? Well this Saturday all the dreams, imaginations, plans shattered away. “Chasing the Sun.” – Ravi

yep, it’s a tough life out there.
and we sit within the warmth of the walls made of those very bricks and kvetch.

Wonderful photo essay. Some very creative shots out there. Remember weekend photo hunt of this kind was possible coz they have no weekends.

Beautiful pictures of dawn and life in brick kiln is hard for sure.
Pic no: 04 ‘Morning glory’ – very dreamy and calm viewer’s mind.
Pic no: 23 ‘Theme Picture’ – is good one and well composed.
Pic no: 24 – Well timing.
Pic no: 33 – Very journalistic and it deservers some more info regarding this boy.
After surfing pictures, I felt the theme of this photo hunt should be, ‘Dawn at the Brick kiln’ or better featured those pictures from brick kiln separately with a new theme. Subject ‘dawn’ and ‘life in brick kiln’ do contradict and grouping both ‘subjects’ as one collection debar from being stronger pictures.
Good work I must say. Keep it up.

On behalf of all shooters, thank you GBG, Dhilung, Asim, Dijup, Suresh, Abishesh, misa, Pallavi, Rudra dai, Sushmita, 00A, Shutterbug and Vish dai.
It was a pleasant ride we had that morning, totally unplanned, literally hunting for subjects to shoot.
and yes, I agree with Shutterbug on featuring the Bricks on one single post, we also had the same thought once we were in the middle of the brick factory with all hustle and bustle. We wanted to capture the brick cycle – from mud to people, from process to the furnace and everything.
… But then, later, we just stuck to the main theme, which was also not decided until we took few shots. May be we’ll have to go there some day to cover the story. It’s difficult, but interesting out there.
I also would like to extend my apology to all photography enthusiasts whom we couldn’t inform on this trip. It was totally a sudden move. I hope we will rock the next session with a huge gang of shooters
