Girija Prasad Koirala Dead

Minister for Irrigation Bal Krishna Khand confirmed the passing away the 86-year-old leader after a NC CWC meeting.
His body will be kept at the Dasharath Stadium, Tripureshwor between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday, NC leader Sher Bahadur Deuba said. His body will be covered by the national flag.
Until then, the body will be kept at his daughter and Deputy Prime Minister Sujata Koirala´s residence at Mandikhatar where people can pay their last homage on Saturday.
The last rites would be performed on Sunday with state honors as he was the former head of states, an emergency meeting of the cabinet decided on Saturday afternoon.
The government also declared Sunday a public holiday and decided to keep the national flag at half mast for three days. Condolence books will be kept open in Nepali diplomatic missions and consulate throughout the world for two days.
Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal reached Mandikhatar to pay last homage to Koirala, who was appointed Prime Minister four times and acting head of the state after monarch was abolished.

It was terrible shock ad grief to nepalese people hearing the dead of a legend who has done lots of contribution to nepalese politics. He was the advocate of peace and was always focused for contry’s betterments and its people. He would be remembered in nepalese history always.
May his sould rest on peace.

now we need to make his big gaint statue for the crows and pigeon of ktm so that they can easily take shit on his statue. He was totally a load of bull dust. The main actor of royal mascare, Lauda corroption and so many things. I wil not feel any sorrow for him and i guess those who love nepal wil not feel any sorrow for that greedy shit leader.

……………….. well what Nepal achieved in G regime is still ???? G Fk the country, conspired for chair until his dead. In fact if possible G would have taken presidency chair with him in his grave. He was not great from any angle, he was a shit and a taboo to Nepalese society. We should celebrate rather then moaning.

Despite of the fact that he did PHD in corruption, we must not forget his contribution for Nepali Politics in the last 5 years.
Corruption was his -ve aspect, regarding the +ve part he played a key role to end the blood war. We people at Kathmandu could have only read or heard about the blood war, but there were many many families that were smashed in the blood war. He gave a full stop to it not only by bringing Maoists to table talk and consititution, but leaded the 7 parties in outhrowing Shahs.
So, lets learn to appreciate.

No doubt about many of his hurting corruption acts, he should always be taken an example as we have very small pool of leaders with clean image .Even Rajiv Gandhi’s case for “Bofors scandal worth Rs 640 million” still on investigation.None politics are 100% clean …..so need to look the positive side ….
